I agree with the last post. You have went down roads that many would not travel. You are not afraid of failure and because of that God is going to guide you and keep you. You have pressed on when many have left you, hurt you and even tried to snatch this very dream from you. They can't break you because you are on a mission. You are very loyal to people and some have taken that loyalty and used it against you but know that God has your back. Many that were jealous of you are now being encouraged by your efforts. Those who hated you are now looking at you in a new light and are pulling for you. Those that left you are now wondering if it was the right thing to do. Don't give in and don't give up. "Anonymous" has said some things that are so true. Some people don't like you. They even hate you. But you are surrounded by great people that love you. Keep your circle small son. I watch how your people protect you and thats because they know that it all starts with you. You are on a great journey. Hang in there. I love you and I am so proud of you. I heard how when your father was sick he said he was ready to go on and be with the Lord. Can I please say this and I say it with great respect for you and your family. Your father felt his work here was done. Your mother is a great woman. You along with your siblings have all grown to be great people. There was nothing left here for him. His work was complete. Just know that when he left us he left with a smile because he knew that he left behind a great legacy. He left you son. You are your father waiting to happen. He was great, you are great. God be with you son and don't forget. For every one person that hates you there 10 that love you and want to be you becuase we admire and respect you.

Love you always young man and you will make it.

Bishop Kid, You are loved beyond human words can express. Like the last post stated, you're on a journey, not just any journey but a journey scripted by God Himself. Your Dad was used by God to instill "dreams" in you. The greatest legacy he left you was to "never give up or stop trying to pursue your dreams" Playwright, you have come a long way, you've battled sickness, betrayal, bad information sources, christian jealousy and the list goes on and on BUT through it all God has sustained you and have given you the fortitude to press onward toward the finish line. Yes, don't give up and never give in to the looks and snares of those that want you to fail. You can't lose! You won't fail! You will acheive your dreams, and the money too! God is the locomotive that is pulling your dreams along at the pace that will bless you the most. It's going slow enough for your crew to appreciate the demands and struggles it takes to acheive the platform and stage God has destined you to have and it's going fast enough to let those that "couldn't hang" know the tremendous blessing and honor they missed by jumping ship. Playwright, God sees your heart and know the pain you feel because you can't bless your crew the way you want now, Remember, God never sends you people who don't understand your heart, God sends you people who don't mind walking beside you in the dry places, trust me, they know you're about to leave the wilderness and enter into your canaan land. Your present crew loves you for you, not for the accolades they receive by being associated with you but they love you for you. You're more blessed then you give yourself credit for. Those that are with you can never leave you and those that was never with you have already left you! Be blessed!

Dear Friends,

First allow me to say thank you for all the wonderful and encouraging words you have extended to me. My wife and I thank you for all of your kindness. As we prepare for our next show things are going very smooth and we are very excited. The actors are working hard, the music sounds great and the air of excitement fills the air. We often talk about what we want for the audience and by the words you have shared it is obvious that our concerns for your enjoyment is a definite must. You have been the best fans a cast could have and as the playwright I must say that I never knew a person could feel and experience so much love.

Thank you so much again and we hope to continue to show you that we love performing for you.

With all of our love,
Kenneth & Tena Craddox

There's no words to describe this great man of God, he was humble beyond words and always had something inspirational in his mouth to say to you. Just his mere presence in the room made you feel better and to hear him praise God caused you to immediately follow his excellent example of giving God the glory. To know him, was to love him deeply and openly. To know about him, was to admire him and to learn from his life what the true measure of a man really was. He was more than a father to the Craddox family. He was more than the spiritual leader to those that attended and still do Praise Temple. He was a friend to all! Didn't matter who you was, didn't matter where you came from, didn't matter if you had money or not, Bishop was there to support you in your weakest hour, Bishop was there to give you an encouraging word, Bishop was there to give you, if needed, the very shirt off his back. It didn't matter, all Bishop strived to do was just to love somebody back to God. He gave his life to God and he expressed his gratitude for his salvation by simply--------loving somebody. People on this board please know that it's a high honor to know this man and my prayer is that we model our lives after the christ-centered life that Bishop lived. If we do that, we will be known of God and our lives will touch millions for the glory of God, like Bishops did and we'll have the same testimony when our life journey is over that we lived our lives to-------love somebody! Bishop did this well, may every reader of this post, do also!!!!!!! Happy Fathers Day in Glory, Bishop Archie Craddox

All of the cast and musicians with the exception of the warden, the prosecuter and the young lady named Sonia have been together for over 2 years. Jasmine Baker(Sonia) and several other "Dead Man Walking" cast members also starred in the BKI production "Georgia Christmas"( later named "Let Go and Let God") The members were chosen through family ties, audition and divine guidance. God knows how to put together what works. They are as wonderful off stage as they are on. And Mama is as funny! Yes, the guard you asked about is married.
